RIED PhD student Orlagh Casey recently presented her ongoing work within the research team at IAAC’s Responsive Cities symposium in Barcelona. The conference was held around the works of collective intelligence design that empowers the applications of co-creation, following generative processes of both the living and the machine.
Orlagh’s work was focused around exploring a ‘Bio- Integrative Design Framework’ for architectural design while looking into the viability of incorporating living materials into the RIED engine.
